Saltinho, São Paulo

Saltinho is a municipality in the state of São Paulo in Brazil. Saltinho is exactly localized at latitude 22º50'48" south and a longitude 47º40'37". The population in 2004 was 6,170 and the area is 99.22 km². The elevation is 595 m.
Saltinho has nicknames such "Brazilian Las Vegas" and "City that Never Sleeps". These are very popular names among the cities in Campinas Region (Region where Saltinho is located in São Paulo State).
The current Mayor of Saltinho is Wanderlei Moacyr Torrezan, elected in 2004 by popular votes.
