Salter Point is a suburb of Perth, Western Australia, located in the City of South Perth local government area.
The suburb's name was gazetted in 1990, and was named after a geographical feature jutting into the Canning River, which itself was named after Hannah Salter, who was born near present-day Canning Bridge in 1851.
