Salomon Manriquez (born September 15, 1982, in Valencia, Venezuela) is a Major League Baseball catcher in the New York Mets organization. On January 7, 2008 he signed a minor league deal with the New York Mets.
He was originally signed as an undrafted free agent by the Montreal Expos in 1999. He achieved some headlines in baseball when he homered off Mets ace Johan Santana in a spring training batting practice session on February 22, 2008.
