Salmiakki (book)

Salmiakki is an award-winning book about salty liquorice candies, written in 2001 by the Finnish author Jukka Annala.

The book was a candidate for the Finlandia Prize of non-fiction books category. It was also elected The Most Beautiful Book of the Year by the Finnish Book Committee.

The author travelled in the Nordic countries and in the Netherlands in order to find out facts about salty liquorice candies.

Salmiakki (ISBN 952-5180-27-1) is written in Finnish. The book was published by Nemo, located in Helsinki.
