Sally Phillips (born 10 May 1970) is a British comic actress. She recently appeared in Pinter's People at the Theatre Royal, Haymarket.

Her role as a receptionist in I'm Alan Partridge proved to be her big break. She also co-created Smack the Pony, an all-female, double Emmy Award winning comedy show. In 2003, she was listed in The Observer as one of the 50 funniest acts in British comedy. She appeared in Bridget Jones's Diary as "Shazzer", previously auditioning for Bridget.
In 2004, she took the title role in the BBC radio sitcom Clare in the Community. In August 2005 she made her stage debut, in Oscar Wilde's The Importance of Being Earnest at the Oxford Playhouse. In 2006 she appeared in the Australian comedy feature BoyTown, while on television she appeared as Clare Winchester in the BBC2 sci-fi comedy Hyperdrive.

Phillips was born in Hong Kong. She was educated at Wycombe Abbey School, in Campbell House and then graduated from New College, Oxford with a 1st class degree in Italian, a contemporary of TV presenter Louis Theroux, lastminute.com co-founder Brent Hoberman, writer Hari Kunzru and actresses Emily Mortimer, Emily Woof and Eve Best. She is a Christian,[1] and met her husband on an Alpha Course in London. The couple have one son.
