Sally Gifford

Sally Gifford is best known as one of the hosts of the CBC's national children's show, The-X, which is shown across Canada.
She attended the famous American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City after graduating with an honours B.A. in Theatre and Sociology from Queen’s University. She previously attended Toronto's Northern Secondary School, which has a number of alumni who are well known in TV and film.
At the beginning of her career, on stage, she performed at Theatre Kingston and The Thousands Island Playhouse, while earning her degree in drama at Queen's University. Then she moved on to TV, both as a host, and actress.
On The-X, she's interviewed various stars, such as Lindsay Lohan, Gwyneth Paltrow, Katie Holmes, Hilary Duff, and Jude Law.
In the 2005 she appeared with Michael Ironside in the short film On That Day about the horrors of war. She's also guest starred on various TV shows, including 1-800-Missing (2003), Radio Free Roscoe (2003), Street Time (2002), and G-Spot (2005).
She is set to appear as Marissa, in the upcoming film One Way. The crime drama is scheduled for release some time in 2006.
