Salisbury House is a restaurant chain based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. It is known locally as "Sals" and is considered a Winnipeg institution.

The restaurant has twenty locations in Winnipeg and employs over 500 people. In 2001, it was bought from its then Montreal owners by a group of local investors, among them musician Burton Cummings. The majority owners are Earl and Cheryl Barish.

Salisbury House is well known for their nips, (their name for hamburgers) as well as its breakfast platters, wafer pie, red velvet cake, and house coffee. Recently introduced a complete line of hot dogs, called WINNIS.

It was founded in Downtown Winnipeg in 1931 by Ralph Erwin, and was named for the salisbury steak. Erwin, who disliked the name hamburger, named his burger a nip (which he considered a nip of Salisbury steak).
