Salem Township is one of twelve townships in Steuben County, Indiana. As of the 2000 census, its population was 2,182.

Salem Township covers an area of 34.55 square miles and contains one incorporated settlement, Hudson. According to the USGS, it contains six cemeteries: Block, Circle, County Line, Hollister, Trinity and Wright.
