Salam Zgharta (Arabic: السلام زغرتا) is a Lebanese football (soccer) club based in Zgharta which competes in the Lebanese Premier League. The team usually plays their home matches in Rashid Karami Stadium which can hold up to 25,000 supporters. A project for the renovation of their historical home stadium (Merdachiyyé) is currently being realised. Salam Zgharta won the Lebanese Cup in 1987. The clubs fanbase comes from the town of Zgharta and the region of Zgharta Zawie. His supporters are notorious for their strong attachment for their club and region and sometimes for their violence. The clubs traditional kit coulour is dark red. Salam Zgharta has a traditional strong rivalry with Ansar Beirut. They have historically been robbed many matches by refereeing errors.
