Description	Salvia fruticosa Salvia fruticosa in Ktalav stream, Jerusalem district, Israel English: Salvia libanotica or East Mediterranean sage is a type of sage commonly found in the Eastern Mediterranean and the Middle East. It is also known as sage apple, Khokh barri, and Na’ama Hobeiq’es-sedr. Taxonomic synonyms include: Salvia fruticosa Mill., Salvia triloba L.f., S. triloba L.f ssp. cypria, and S. triloba L.f. ssp. libanotica. עברית: מרווה משולשת (בשמותיה בערבית - מרמריה, ג'עסס, קוסעין) בנחל קטלאב שבפרוזדור ירושלים, ישראל. זהו בן שיח המגיע עד לגובה של כמטר, ענפיה של המרווה המשולשת ארוכים ושעירים, העלים ירוקים בעלי מרקם קטיפתי ובצבע ירוק לבנבן כסוף. העלה מורכב משתי אונות קטנות ואחת גדולה, ומכאן שמה "מרוה משולשת". המרווה גדלה באזור ההר יחד עם חורש ים תיכוני. זמן הפריחה הוא באדר וסיון. תה העשוי מעליו של הצמח הוא בעל טעם אופייני ושימושים ברפואה עממית.
