Meaning of Sakura Haruno's name
I do not know what Haruno means, but I do know for a fact that "Sakura" translates as cherry blossom. Check the article on sakura for details-the article is all about the cherry tree and backs up my point.--65.41.95.88 16:43, 10 April 2007 (UTC)
- Haruno translates to "Springfield" Arcaza 15:41, 9 July 2007 (UTC)Arcaza
I read somewhere that Sakura Haruno meant 'Spring Of The Cherry Blossoms' A-C-PHLEGM 20:55 24 September 2007
- In addition to Arcaza's translation, "Sakura" translates to "Cherry Blossom," "Haru" translates to "Spring," and "no" is (in this case) similar to our possessive apostrophies. Hence "Haruno Sakura" is a pun ("Spring's cherry blossom"). You Can't See Me! 00:58, 25 September 2007 (UTC)
That's exactly what I thought. Now of course, we have to take into account the difference in laguages and culture, but over all, I think the meaning of her name should be listed as Spring's Cherry Blossom. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.177.115.38 (talk) 20:23, 2 January 2008 (UTC)

Another Sakura Haruno
There is another anime character with the name Sakura Haruno. She's from an anime called "Wandaba Style" —Preceding unsigned comment added by GreatDragonLord (talk • contribs) 05:50, 1 May 2005
....thats cool? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Kaizenyorii (talk • contribs) 19:33, 2 May 2006
....I think that GDL means that you should either make it Haruno Sakura (Naruto) and make it redirect here with something in the top about the Wandaba Style character, or make this go to a disambiguation page and make an article on the other character. and also, that was rude. I mean, GOD. Where do you get off with this whole 'Oh, you forgot to include this' 'whatever, n00b' thing anyway? 68.107.96.136 01:34, 29 July 2006 (UTC)
Naruto 2 Arc
Now that the battle with Sasori is over, I think the article could use a little update soon. Unfortunately, I'm way too busy to do it myself, so I leave it up to one of you. 80.202.68.155 19:46, 6 September 2005 (UTC)
Tackling Sakura
I would really appreciate it if somebody helped me put some work and a fresh perspective into this article. The template that worked for Naruto, Sasuke, Neji, Hinata, Gaara, Rock Lee and all those other dramatically themed characters just doesn't work with Sakura, who's really defined more by her interactions with other characters and changes in point of view than by any prevailing themes in particular even now (and consider the earlier days when her major defining theme was "Sasuke-kun!"). --AceMyth 02:51, 10 December 2005 (UTC)

Sakura's Wiki page
Sakura's Wikipedia page needs to be cleaned desperately. Towards the latter Naruto arc sections on the page, it seems someone is just summarizing how the story is going. That's nice, but is a character page for Sakura really the place to do it? Also, it is very clear that the author favors a Naruto/Sakura pairing. This anime is filled with pairing preference "shippers" who often fight and insult each other. Can't this one page be neutral? It's about the character herself, not speculations of some fans over who she should/will end up with, nor is it a story summary. Please, somebody change this page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.97.181.92 (talk • contribs) 06:35, 15 May 2006
I hardly think the author is biased towards Naruto/Sakura. S/he was simply pointing out facts that should be plainly obvious to anyone who has read the manga. (Example, if Yamato wasn't about to suggest that Sakura was developing feelings for Naruto in 297, then what exactly WAS he about to say? What would the point of the scene have been otherwise?)
Furthermore, I don't hear anyone whining about how biased the Hinata page is toward the pairing of Naruto/Hinata, which it most definitely is--but then again, that's the most popular pairing in Western fandom, so no surprise there. Starlightmusic 22:22, 27 May 2006 (UTC)
Well it's not so much that hinata's page is bias, as it is that hinata's life as of now still revolves around her feeling for Naruto. Its hard to keep it out as it shades everything she does.--Master Shan 22:16, 22 June 2006 (UTC)
I think its pretty good, but the author keeps reffering to Sakura like shes not very strong which she is amazing I think. I also agree with unsigned2, they do like a Naruto/Sakura pair which isnt exactly nessesary (sp?) if anyone dissagrees with me let me know. ---> SakuraBlizzard
The anime isn't called Sasuke right? Nor is it called Sakura? Therefore, the lead character should get the main female character. Besides Hinata, ya snooze ya lose.
I believe the Naruto/Sakura pairing stands out, due to that Hinata hasn't come into the picture yet. The manga/anime hasnt showed much of her yet, so its pretty much Naruto and Sakura for the time being. And I thought that Sakura was starting to understand Naruto more as he confessed about the Kyubi within him..... hanabi-sama 00:21, 26 February 2007 (UTC)
-
- It's more of a brotherly/sisterly affection Naruto and Sakura have for each other now. Until she starts feeling for Naruto the same way she felt about Sasuke, the verdict on her feelings for him stretch to simply platonic. Sakura realizes that Sasuke really doesn't care for her, and she tried to attack Sasuke once. Naruto always understood her, and never abonded her, not to mention he saved her countless times. Then Sasuke betrayed her.
Well, just wait until Hinata shows up in the Shippuden! Man, I can't wait! And, stop all this talking about NaruSaku! It isn't ALWAYS that the main character gets the main female character. And, althought it's actually screaming NaruHina in Hinata's wiki page, I can't hear someone complaining. Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge fan of SasuSaku and NaruHina, but all this talk about NaruSaku makes me cringe. The first canon pairing is AsumaKurenai, I think. So, end of discussion. Another exam for Sakura? ( and Ino,too? )
Considering the fact that both Sakura and Ino had lost in the preliminaries, does this mean that they had to undergo the next exam during the three year gap? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by R.G. (talk • contribs) 04:49, 27 June 2006 (UTC)
- They must have gone through a Chūnin exam during that time, it doesn't have to be the next one available. We don't know how often it occurs, but it isn't that hard to believe an exam is held at least once a year. Giving everyone at least two exams to reach Chūnin. -- Pedantic79 (talk) 05:22, 27 June 2006 (UTC)
It occurs twice every year. Considering that Naruto is still Genin, he may take the next one, but may not due to the fact that the exam rules require a three-man team. Sakura's a Chūnin, she can't take it again, and Sasuke's obviously not there. He may have to sign with another team altogether. The Wretched 03:39, 30 June 2006 (UTC)
Question: How DID Sakura become a Chunin without going through the third part of the exam?Or is there something I missed? - R.G. 05:38, 16 July 2006 (UTC)
Unless I'm completely wrong, Naruto beats Neji and passes the exam the FIRST time, Sasuke comes back and beats Gaara, and Sakura becomes a Chūnin during the time skip. --Sasuke-kun27 07:23, 16 July 2006 (UTC)
The only genin to pass the first Chunin exam is Shikamaru, remember it was based on performance during the battle not on the result of the battle. --NotAUser 10:36, 17 July 2006 (UTC)
In response to R.G. - It's still one of those unknown things. Personally, I think she probably formed a squad with Ino and Choji during the timeskip for the exam. After all, Shikamaru was the only one to pass the exam that time around, and Sakura was the only one left after her team fell apart. So it's not entirely unlikely. ...but this is still just my opinion. Taniara 08:47, 16 July 2006 (UTC)

You don't suppose Tsunade pulled some strings? - R.G. 06:43, 17 September 2007 (UTC)
- What do you mean?Jacce 11:41, 17 September 2007 (UTC)
Here's what I think happend: Tsunade's the Hokage, she can make anyone a Chūnin if she what's to. And with Sakura as her student, she was bound to pass her at some point; that could happen. Naruto however, fought Kakashi along with Sakura; reason? To become a Chūnin. Ino, Chouji, Neji, and everybody probably took the exams like normal (with the regular 3-man-cells). How, you may ask? Well, keep in mind, when NARUTO was taking place they took Peleminary(sp?) rounds before going off to fight, because more passed that expected. Well, since Shikamaru became a Chūnin before, he simply took the 2nd exam with the rest of his team until the all passed (Same with Neji), but when they got to the one-on-one battles, that's when they didn't take part in the exams. Going back to Sakura, Naruto, and Sasuke. Because Tsunade announced that Naruto was now part of "Team Kakashi" that would make him a Chūnin. Sasuke is a Missing-nin so that would be his rank, but I think Orochimaru could alway's declare Sasuke a certain rank. Make any sense? ---> Renaika56 18:24, 13 October 2007
Far too many Illustrations
This article is lacking useful illustrations, and the existing illustrations are far to numerous compared to the other articles about Naruto characters. We should consider removing some of the illustrations.
Probably Tsunade changed the rules for the chunin exams because of the sudden decline of Ninja so any ninja could do it as a one man squad. 69.211.136.93 03:33, 7 August 2006 (UTC)
Katsuyu Trivia
According to this trivia bullet: [ Sakura is often drawn with a slug. On the cover of chapter 4 of the manga, she was drawn standing on Tsunade's slug summon, Katsuyu, along with Naruto and Sasuke on their respective animals (a toad and a snake), and as this was drawn long before the Legendary Three had been introduced, this seems to be some foreshadowing about Team 7 's link to them. ] Sakura is on top of Katsuyu, but is there any proof? Naruto is most certainly not on Gamabunta, and Sasuke's snake doesn't look like Manda. Blademaster313 02:21, 29 July 2006 (UTC)
- maybe they are on a different toad or snake. they can summon more than 1 toad or snake.
I think it's not katsuyu. In Japan, it's a common belief that kunoichi (female ninja) has some link/bound to slug. While ninja is bound to frog. Ailerua 15:56, 10 July 2007 (UTC)
Question
I am not a Naruto fan, but my son is showing some interest. I would like to request that somebody create a subsection for each character defining their powers. As of now, I know who ranks in popularity, but I have no idea what powers they have. Please help me out and make this wki a little more user freindly to the "Naruto ignorant".
I just had a quick question; after the Time-Skip, does Sakura know about the Kyuubi being inside Naruto? I heard someone mention that she did, but I didn't catch anything about it here. --Gero 13:47, 13 August 2006 (UTC)
- Naruto tells her about it. – Someguy0830 (Talk | contribs) 05:13, 10 September 2006 (UTC)
- Naruto mentions to Sakura something along the lines of "You know about it, right?" when heading towards Sunagakure during the Rescue Gaara arc. It's assumed that she found out while digging through Tsunade's files, similar to how she knew about Oro's past dealings with Akatsuki. -- Seraphchoir 15:39, 18 April 2007 (UTC)

Haruno Sakura → Sakura Haruno – As pointed out in Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Anime_and_manga#Naruto_character_article_titles, the current names for articles about Naruto characters are inconsistent with the names used for other anime characters (Naruto characters use Japanese order for names, while most other anime characters have their name in Western order), as well not following the naming guidelines in WP:MOS-JA.

Inner Sakura
anyone think we should include inner sakura as a jutsu. i mean it was able beat ino soul transfer jutsu. i bet its a unique kekkei genkai/ bloodline jutsu —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Noman953 (talk • contribs) .
- I don't think so. Inner Sakura is just Sakura's hidden personality. And we can't "bet" that it's a kekkei genkai, so no, we can't put that up (unless it is stated so in some official databook). Good idea, though. --Kyo catmeow! 19:21, 19 November 2006 (UTC)

- Just because it was able to beat Ino's soul transfer jutsu, it doesn't mean that it's a jutsu itself. If Ino were to take over Naruto's body, she would be kicked out in five seconds due to the nine-tailed fox inside of him. Last time I checked, that wasn't a jutsu either. // Sasuke-kun27 19:31, 19 November 2006 (UTC)

How could Inner Sakura be a jutsu? She seems more like someone who portrays Sakura's real feelings, to me, anyway. And if she were a jutsu, what type would she be? She can't be taijutsu(albeit she can use taijutsu moves), she need chakra to come out(I think) so she can't be ninjutsu or genjutsu. Anyways, Sakura doesn't even seem to be aware that she's there. Or maybe she does, subconciously. No scenes show her thinking about her inner self (as in deep thoughts), Inner Sakura just comes out. Maybe it's schizophrenia. 80.192.53.79 08:38, 6 January 2007 (UTC)rea
I was just wondering what the writing (japanese) on her head meant. It doesn't say on the page. Also under signature it says "Kekkei genkai" does she have one?...
- In order, the writing on her head says "Inner Sakura" and the Signature Jutsu/Kekkei genkai thing is just an "and/or" situation. It means "Signature jutsu and/or Kekkei genkai." – Someguy0830 (T | C) 21:29, 27 January 2007 (UTC)

- Maybe Sakura has MPD and is just supressing the other personality. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by
74.73.103.13 (talk) 23:20, 25 February 2007 (UTC).
Her inner self might be her Genjutsu
Sakura's inner self is the more ferocious part of her personality that she occasionally vented upon Naruto in part one when he did what were in her opinion, stupid things (Note - This was not always the case. As seen frequently, she tried to refrain from unleashing inner Sakura - her true feelings on the situation. This may have been due to an issue with her confidence and age more than anything else). Inner Sakura appears less and less as Sakura grows older and becomes stronger, as she is beginning to grow into herself more, as most people do when they get older.
Although the character of Sakura could never be described as shy, she did answer and retaliate to many situations in a restrained manner, and this is when inner Sakura would unleash her true feelings on the situation at hand. She appears less and less now that Sakura is stronger, older and more mature in her personality.
It is definitely not a jutsu, just suppressed feelings brought to the surface by Naruto during Sakura's fight against Ino. (82.2.134.106 08:49, 15 April 2007 (UTC))
- How much of that is speculation? The only thing I can agree with is that Inner Sakura represents her inner feelings. -- Seraphchoir 15:39, 18 April 2007 (UTC)
- In the chuunin exams when Sakura was pitted against Ino, Ino used her mind body transfer jutsu on her. As soon as she was in Sakura's mind, Inner Sakura appeared and threatened Ino out and Ino said that Sakura had two spirits. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 216.166.216.138 (talk) 09:58, 8 May 2007 (UTC).

Per WP:BOLD, I've moved this page to Sakura Haruno (Naruto); while less popular, the main character of Wandaba Style did have an English release. Danny Lilithborne 05:24, 20 November 2006 (UTC)

- I might have made a mistake by acting in haste, I guess. But it looks bad to have a dab redlink. Could there be a compromise solution? Danny Lilithborne 23:54, 20 November 2006 (UTC)
- If are still interested in putting this page back to its original name you may want to conisder making a dab link to Wandaba Style instead since that would not be a redlink. From there is would not be very difficult to find the information needed due to it not being a long article. Also WP:FICT states that major characters should be listed in the main article unless it makes it too long. Due to the current length of Wandaba Style I don't see that happening anytime soon so therefore there is little chance of an article for that Sakura Haruno being created of lasting long if it was. Finally, that article has not been edited in over two months so there does not seem to be much interest in exansion. For these reasons, I think this can be safely moved back. --69.156.205.133 07:27, 26 December 2006 (UTC)

hey. here are a couple of things you could add to the trivia: -"haruno sakura" could also mean "cherry blossom of spring" -since her birthday is on march 28, shino is the only one from the rookie 9 who's older than her and she's 4 months older than sasuke and half a year older than naruto 80.192.53.79 20:20, 9 January 2007 (UTC)rea

it says that during the time skip, Sakura becomes a chunin, correct? but in order for that to happen, she would need to take part in the chunin exam and for that you need a 3 man group and sasuke nor naruto were available soo how is that possible?QuietDrive627 00:10, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
- That current fact is unknown. We could speculate all we want. For example, she could have joined temporarily with Ino's team, which had only two Genin at the time. Or, she could have joined a completely new Genin geam. Perhaps Tsunade made an exception in Sakura's case and promoted her just for being her apprentice. Yes, we see her in the episode 8-9 special of Shippuden. 72.234.47.244 10:54, 17 April 2007 (UTC)
Sakura's Height
Isn't Sakura supposed to be smaller than 165 cm? She's wearing heels you know

Medic-nin status
Currently on Ino's talk page there's a discussion going on as to the officiality of Sakura's medic-nin ranking. See here -- Seraphchoir 12:19, 19 April 2007 (UTC)
- Yeah, basically we need to nail down exactly what criteria is to be referred to as a medical ninja. Does the mere capability of executing healing jutsu make you one, or does it require distinct dedication to medicine over other forms of jutsu? What about those "in training" who might not yet qualify as "full" medical ninja? Do you need to be associated with a medical organization, such as the Konoha white ninja, or Orochimaru's chop-shop?
- For Ino, this might be questionable, but for Sakura, she has dedication, top-tier training and requisite association to the Hokage and the organization of medical ninja she oversees. –Gunslinger47 17:43, 19 April 2007 (UTC)
Sakura has medical abilities that surpass chiyo's which is shown when she cured the poison out of kankorou. That would make Sakura superior to chiyo as far as medical ninjustsu goes. That would make her medic-nin abilities superior to that of a regular jonin. Ino probably has some medical abilities, but she doesn't have the experience or chakra control that Sakura has. That is why it would be safe to say that Sakura has at least the same status as Shizune or superior. But wouldn't you think that becoming a medic-nin would have the same process as becoming a ninja. The trainees take tests to become full fledged medic- nin. Remember when Sakura was training with that fish to bring it back to life. I think that could qualify as a test to become a medic-nin. At least that's what I think.
- Playing the Devil's Advocate again, I disagree (and please sign your comments with 4 ~'s). Sakura's knowledge of poisons are the only thing, really, that has been proven to be beyond anybody else's capabilities, except Tsunade or possibly Sasori. Your arguments only point to her potential, or experiences, but not her official status. The training (e.g. fish revival) that she went to is comparable to the training Naruto went through, which focused on specific skills rather than a complete offical set of tests. Compare to someone taking a CPR course in real life; successful completion of the course doesn't make the person a doctor or paramedic, it just makes them more knowledgeable in one lifesaving technique. -- Seraphchoir 12:20, 23 April 2007 (UTC)
I really wasn't asking for anyone to agree with me on the subject. I was just stating my opinion because all I hear is how much people say that Sakura has no skills just because they're stuck on the past when she idolized Sasuke. As far as ranks go in being a medic-nin no one will actually know until the manga or anime goes into it. Until then all we can do is make guesses.
- (Don't forget to sign your comments ~_~) Alright then, since this discussion has been up here for awhile and I've heard nothing verifiable that Sakura's an official medic-nin, I'm taking it off the page for now. -- Seraphchoir 14:29, 24 April 2007 (UTC)
Hello! I'm sorry if the discussion is old already, but... whatever XP (ignore the incoming gramatical errors)
I think Sakura is, in fact, a medical ninja and should be listed as one.
The reason is kinda simple and not exactly conclusive (but since the manga didn't said anything stronger saying the opposite, I go with this): Sasori concluded Sakura was a Medic-nin when he saw she using the Shōsen no Jutsu on herself (chapter 271: This brat is a medical ninja too... - Inane translation). Based only on this, we can conclude that the simple fact of being able to perfectly use the Shōsen no Jutsu qualify a ninja as a medical one. This seems more correct if you consider the level of the Shōsen no Jutsu: A! A "level A" ninjutsu! This is a really high level ninjutsu, so it probably need a full long training to be mastered.
As I said, this is not very conclusive. But the manga gave hints that Sakura is a medical ninja solely by the fact she mastered the Shōsen, and never said anything against it.
Since Sasori considered that "use the Shōsen" is a reason strong enough to call someone a medical ninja, I think we should as well.
Based on this, Ino would also be a full medical ninja. We use to think she is not strong in Shōsen based on a early (mis)translation of Shikamaru speech, but later translations never mentioned she "lack control of medical jutsu", but, actually, that "medical jutsu would do little in Asuma's condition" (and that make sense if you think that Sakura and Chiyo together couldn't heal Sakura properly after she was hit in just 1 vital spot... Asuma was hited in 4!!!).
Summary: Sakura and Ino are medic-nin, as I understand. - Access Timeco 00:37, 8 May 2007 (UTC)
If I can remember right, Sakura trained to be a medical nin in both part I and part II, right? Maybe she isn't a medical nin, but she's a medical nin in training. And, she actually saved Kankurou's life in one of the recent anime episodes. So, what do you guys think? In my opinion, she should be labeled "Medic nin". Or, that she's in training, at least. Because, we can't ignore the fact that she has used medical jutsus, right? And, about Ino...she shouldn't be labeled as a Medical nin, she's just training under Sakura. I'm aware that Ino tried to save Asuma's life, but as I read somewhere, Orochimaru and other powerful nins may also know this technique. NazaliaSan 12:28, 31 May 2007 (UTC)
Sorry kind of old. When talking about the conflict (rather question) of Medic-nin, its important that you base your facts are dependent on the manga. This is where the anime kind of strays away from the orginal story plot. In the manga, Kishimoto Masashi never explained why or where Ino learned medical jutsu, whereas the anime indicated that she was jealous of Sakura and realized her own uselessness. One also assumes that she had at least some training because of the fact that she didnt fight at all during the Rescuing Asuma arc. Since it was previously indicated that medic-nins shouldnt fight unless they absoluetly have to. As for Sakura on the other hand, she was seen in the hospital healing and reparing Narutos arm. |i dont have a username|
Recent Manga chapters
I'm following the manga chapters, but noticed that here, on wikipedia, we haven't written about the newest manga chapter, when it's a possibility for Sakura to meet Sasuke. Or do you guys planning on writing about it when it’s revealed that it’s Sakura behind that tree. Because, we don’t know that yet, right? NazaliaSan 12:21, 31 May 2007 (UTC)
Um, sorry! I really thought it was Sakura behind that tree. -bows- NazaliaSan 18:10, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
Parents
Have Sakura's parents ever actually been seen?
- As far as I've seen, no. I think her mother speaks at one point or another, though. // DecaimientoPoético 02:20, 10 June 2007 (UTC)
- That's stupid. She's the only one of team seven with parents, and we don't see them.
Yea, i thinki heard Sakura's mom on the first day of school or watever and when she was sulking about sasuke being in the hospital.--Bloody rock princess 00:01, 6 August 2007 (UTC)
- Sakura's mom makes several voice appearances...on the first day of Genin exam telling her to get ready and not to be late, after the Third's funeral when she tells Sakura to bring sweets to Ino and her family...and I think on one or two other occasions that are very minor. You never see or hear the dad though.Fox816 00:10, 6 August 2007 (UTC)

Should there be any information about Sakura's inclusion in the video games? Or some of "special attacks" she has in the game because they haven't been shown in the anime yet.

Sakura's Age Confusion
- I've noticed some debates on this (me being apart of it). People think that Sakura is actually 15 when part II she is actually 16; allow me to explain (AK-"After Kyuubi"):
- 13 AK
- 10 September - Kimimaro appears and the remainder of fights occur. Sasuke and Naruto fight at the Valley of the End. Chouji and Neji undergo surgery. Sakura begins training under Tsunade.

- 15 AK
- 3 July - Hyuuga Neji turns 16.
- 7 July - Inuzuka Kiba turns 15.

- 23 August - Temari turns 18.

- 10 October - Uzumaki Naruto turns 15.
- 27 November - Rock Lee turns 17.
- 27 December - Hyuuga Hinata turns 15.
- 30 December - Konohamaru turns 12.
- 16AK

These dates came from "NARUTO's Official Date Books" however, this list was written by someone who can not edit Wiki themselves, so I said I waould do this for them. - December - Naruto leaves Konoha to train with Jiraya.
- Where in the databooks are these dates given? ~SnapperTo 02:04, 14 October 2007 (UTC)
- I'll ask the Timeline creater, but I'm sure they are given somewhere. They wouldn't have posted it if it hadn't been in there, because they stated that they got it from the Databooks; and they have no rason to lie about it, but I'll ask.
EDIT: The Creator themselves hasn't responded yet, but another person (who I think help out with the Timeline) stated "The mini-official book only says "around 60 years before" for the origin of Konoha." so if the full timeline was posted, you'd see everything would be in order. Oh, I forgot to add this: Timeline Creator has the books and everything, they just put it into a Tileline format. Hince the birthday's being where they should be. Now, for all who know it's a 2.5 skip, I know this. But Sakura is still 16, 13AK December-16AK June looks like a 2.5 year skip to me. And it is (On a side note: I got my dad the mighy math wizard to check over the math and he would tell me if I was wrong) you have tou keep the months in mind, not just the years. And you see, if Naruto came back in the 15th year, he would have be 14 when part 2 began. I know how confusing this all may be, but she's 16 and as soon as I can prove she is then I can move on to the rest who are older aswell. So please, go to the Timeline link above and look for yourself, it's true, and it's being updated as the manga goes on (Mabey, that's what I saw anyway) you'll see that I'm right, not that you guy's are wrong, for she had been 16 for just 4 months and who pay's attention anymore? --> Renaika56
- EDIT (Again): OK, I found out the creator hasn't logged on in...forever, but he did say that "The databook lists graduation ages for all the genin - and they were all 12 when they graduated." meaning all of them. So, if we look back in the Anime (I'm not sure on the manga) but the graduation date for everyone was Oct. 15, 5 day's after Naruto turned 12, meaning Sakura was 12 during this point (as were the ones older than her) well, the reason Naruto got tired of doing D-rank missions was because they did them for 5 months. Now during this point everone was still 12 March-May they were in Wave THATS when Sakura hit 13 the day itself is unknown, she was 13 before they left for Wave or after, but it does not matter much. Next, the Chūnin exams are held in July (Sasuke's birth month) Day1-Test 1, Day 2-7-Test 2, Day 7-Preliminary Chuunin Tournament is held, July-Aug.-Sasuke turns 13, Naruto learns Summoning, Sasuke learns Chidori. That's just a bit more I gathered until later; mabey now you'll belive me, but here is someone who can make more sense than I can Look for "Manetheren" please, they put it in an order that makes more sense, and I think he listed all the ages (Although Hinata's is the only on no one is sure about so yeah) He has 2 post on this certain page, one list the ages at the bottom, and the other is a touched-up version of the first. Please read it, then you'll see everything you need to know. Renaika56 —Preceding comment was added at 16:58, 16 October 2007 (UTC)

- Yea, the "Great Naruto Timeline" as related on Narutofan is mainly a bunch of speculation thrown in with some dates from the databooks and extrapolation from the person who compiled it. We can't take most of it for fact and we definitely can't use it for a source... --GhostStalker(Got a present for ya! | Mission Log) 21:52, 16 October 2007 (UTC)

- And trying to "correct" a character's age is ineffective since most of the ages given in the databook don't work anyway. All the members of Team 7, 8, 10, and Gaara cannot all be the same age at the same time. Well, technically they can for a few weeks out of the year, but the discernible passage of time in Naruto does not really allow for it. As for the authenticity of the timeline, an actual databook would not use ~27 August for a date that something happens. ~SnapperTo 22:13, 16 October 2007 (UTC)
- One last thing: Something the databooks actually do say is that Team 7 did 7 D-rank missions. I am almost certain that ninja can find a cat and accomplish six other equally easy tasks in under five months. ~SnapperTo 22:28, 16 October 2007 (UTC)

- Fine. You don't have to belive me. I can beat all the information you just gave me by going back to the Anime/Manga. But I'm not going to bother because you're not going to listen. Oh, but I'm aware they cannot all be the same age at thae same time, like I stated, it depends almost totally on the month not the year. Point is, I know what I'm talking about and the Databook isn't alway's right. But, I'm going to stop because there's no point. Although, one thing bugs me about Sakura being 15 as well as Naruto at thae start. If Sakura WAS 15 at the start, that would have to make Naruto 14 at the begining because his birthday was just 7 days ago. Never the less, she's 16 at this point in time; at least in the Manga. And even if they are the same age for a period of time it would be for 5 months (roughly) Nov.-March (again, roughly); just thought I'd point that little thing out. ---> Cyclone~FoxRenaTalk 18:17, 17 October 2007 (UTC)

Infobox Vandalism
We had some trouble with a registered user who was consistantly replacing correct information in the infobox with false ones mainly Sakura's birthday which is March 28 not March 18. The user in question was banned several weeks ago however around an hour from now an anonymous IP did the same in changing the birthdays which can lead us to assume it's the same vandal using a different IP this time. That's one possibility. Either way, this is just a head's up. If any vandalism occurs, especially the one in question, make sure to revert (obviously) and warn the vandal appropriately. If it becomes another recurring problem involving the one or several users (possibly sock puppets) then we can address it to Admins quicker. Basically, gives us less of a headache if we can do that. relationships
I think that an article on the relationships of sakura should be made. Having a large variety of relationships, from naruto to ino to sasuke to sai. And is it true that in chapter 297 sakura admits her love 4 naruto? there r ALOT of rumors. does sasuke actually kill sakura?
In sasuke uchiha's character bio, the plot overview says that sasuke's plan to kill itachi backfired; and, that he accidentally killed sakura in the process.
