Sakiusa Tuisolia

Ratu Sakiusa Tuisolia is a Fijian chief and former civil servant. He was dismissed in December 2006 as Chief Executive Officer of the government-owned Airports Fiji Limited, by the military administration that had seized power on 5 December. [1] He accepted his dismissal philosophically: "If they (the Military) are planning to terminate me from my post then so be it because they are in control now and we’ll just had to listen to them," he said. When the Military accused him of "discrepancies" in the accounting, however, he reacted angrily, saying that was "a total and blatant lie". [2] He accused the Military of conducting a witch hunt against him.

Tuisolia claimed to have converted a F$3 million loss in 2001 to a F$5 million profit in 2006. [3]

Tuisolia is married to Imrana Jalal, a lawyer of Indian descent. She, too, has been dismissed from civil service positions by the Military-backed interim government.
