My real name is Saikat Sengupta, I use the nickname saikat.blogger or saikatblogger in the cyber world. Since my blog has come up as a part of my life, I cannot separate it from my identity, hence I selected such a pen name. I consider myself as an ArTech, a combination of Artistic and Technical sense, which is very rare. I did my Diploma in Printing Technology from The Regional Institute of Printing Technology, Kolkata and completed my Graduation in Computer Application from IGNOU.

But I did not go for any technical job. I am working as a content developer and technical writer for documentation of Flash Charts and Flash Map generating products. While doing so, I also felt the need of creating a better medium of interaction. Web forums, blogs, wiki all are interactive platforms where people can exchange ideas, but is it possible to establish any better means of communication? That is what I am looking for.

However, I am fond of Wiki and Wikipedia and I think Wikipedia is the best source of information till date. That is why I am here; I will be contributing my knowledge to this huge knowledge store and enrich my own knowledge bank as well. I have a blog that speaks more about me.
