This needs moving to St John's College, but that page is a redirect.

Because in the list all the names are "St" and not "Saint"(!) Trilobite (Talk) 08:48, 21 Aug 2004 (UTC)

"St" is not common usage in the US (it is always either abbreviated to "St." or left as "Saint"), which is why this disambiguation page is in this namespace. "St" or "St." would not really be applicable, and they both (obviously) mean "Saint". Darkcore 15:46, 21 Aug 2004 (UTC)

To be fair, I've never heard any of these colleges refer to themselves as "Saint John's College", whereas all use the name "St. John's College" in all of their literature and documentation. Thus a redirect to "St John's College" or "St. John's College" is justified. Impi 22:14, 21 Apr 2005 (UTC)
