[edit] of Armagh and of Kilbannon, two separate people?
The page Benignus of Armagh claims that St. Benignus of Kilbannon was a different person from St. Benignus of Armagh. But, the page St. Benignus of Kilbannon redirects here, and here we have what sounds like a repeat of the same biography as on the Benignus of Armagh page.
Suggested things to do:
- Figure out whether Benignus of Armagh and St. Benignus of Kilbannon were verifiably two different people.
- Merge the biography on this page with the biography at Benignus of Armagh, changing this page into a redirect. Regardless of whether Armagh and Kilbannon were two separate people, this page and Benignus of Armagh appear to be biographies of the same person (and I suspect the article titles make them necessarily the same person) so they need to be merged.
- Consider creating an article (rather than merely a redirect) on Benignus of Kilbannon, if it's a separate person; or change the redirect to point to the section of Benignus of Armagh where Benignus of Kilbannon is mentioned. Note that the two redirects Benignus of Kilbannon and St. Benignus of Kilbannon would both need to be changed so they continue to both point to the same page.
- Consider adding St. Benignus of Kilbannon to the Benignus disambiguation page. --Coppertwig (talk) 01:37, 25 December 2007 (UTC)
