[edit] Manga Section Added
I added a few comments in the body. As I said feel free to edit it down, expand, etc. It's a very, very quick rough off the top of my head. I left a sub section for the Shinzoubon changes because I haven't gotten to compare them yet 100%. I know she changed some plot info, etc as she worked on the series, but I haven't finished mapping it out. I can make art botes right away, but I think that belongs with the volume, not the arc info. I also reorganized the section to be manga first, anime second and separated them more clearly. Loosely it's summary of creation, spans what to what, a few sentences, then imported version. I also added a section for contrasting. I'm fine if it gets voted off, but it might be good for a quick read for those who are trying to separate versions in their head without having to read the whole entire article and won't be repetitive if done correctly. I left out all things pertaining to debates and fan speculations. So no origins of Cosmos in great detail. --Hitsuji Kinno 07:02, 5 October 2006 (UTC)
- Wow, that was fast! Thank you so much! :) I did do some wording tweaks, but it's mostly pretty good. My only concern is that there's no description of how Chaos is destroyed; that part seems to be skipped. Other wording fixups and stuff can be done later, but this is a great start.
- I think Shizobun info would be better reserved for the main manga page. We really don't need to be that detailed; I haven't seen the Stars Shinzobun, but I know that for the first few arcs the only differences are dialogue touches. Unless the plot unravels significantly differently, I think we're okay.
- I also think that an arc similarities section is more important than differences; that is, a section before either of these two called "Story." Then diverging into the two more detailed sections. That will allow us to give the best simple, basic (spoiler-free!) plot for the casually interested, and we don't have to repeat a lot of the things we currently are. I'll give that a whirl in a bit and show what I mean. --Masamage 17:24, 5 October 2006 (UTC)

- The Sailor Quartet do not go into the Cauldron. Sailor Cosmos sends them back to the future where she tells them their Princess will be waiting for them. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.78.32.72 (talk) 00:25, 2 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Section for songs?
I was wondering if that whole bit about songs should be moved to its own section like in the character profiles in the same order, formatting it like Ami-chan's? I think it would be easier to read and be more relevant than at the top. --Hitsuji Kinno 16:12, 5 October 2006 (UTC)
- Like it. Did it. ^^ --Masamage 17:24, 5 October 2006 (UTC)
- Reformatted it to be like Ami-chan's version with bullets, but kept all the info. Is there anything else this page is missing? Is the template up to code yet? Can this be upgraded at some point to at least "start" from "stub"? --Hitsuji Kinno 02:43, 6 October 2006 (UTC)
- Actually, I bet it's a B, by now... Shall we ask for an evaluation? While we're at it, let's toss in some citations. :) --Masamage 07:43, 6 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Missing info - Defeat of Chaos in the Manga
The manga section completely skips over the defeat of Chaos. Can someone who's read it help out with that? --Masamage 19:21, 15 November 2006 (UTC)

- I'm striking the note about the length of the lead (which looks good to me), as well as the one about "it has been," which is only used once and in an appropriate way. Also striking the thing about dates, as no months or days are linked to, and the thing about units of measurement, because I can't find what it might be referring to. Any guesses? --Masamage 05:48, 22 November 2006 (UTC)
-
- The 'dates' thing might have been referring to the thirtieth century? I'm not sure about the plurals-of-abbreviations thing either. I wasn't sure about the lead, but we do need it to be about that long, as it covers Stars and Sailor Stars proper. - Malkinann 20:39, 22 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Dawn of Cyrstal Tokyo?
"Usagi wakes up next to Mamoru in bed at the dawn of Crystal Tokyo" WHAT? This may make sense to someone who has read the manga but to someone who hasn't (Like me) it makes no sense. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.60.172.54 (talk • contribs)
- Darned good point. Can someone with access to the Stars manga fix that? I don't have it. --Masamage 04:23, 23 November 2006 (UTC)

- Done. However, Usagi's mention that "a new star" is about to be born is missing from the summary, but I don't know how to put it in without killing the mood. Should it be in there at all? -- RattleMan 04:50, 23 November 2006 (UTC)

- Cool. I'll give that a shot. --Masamage 05:21, 23 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Just wondering by MR UNSEEN
This is my questions to stars, this are my 1st 3 for now. 1. Why do sailors uranus and neptune kill pluto and saturn 2. why hasn't there been an english dubb (and will there ever be one) 3. I heard there was going to be a new sailor moon, is there any truth to this rumor —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 203.167.16.203 (talk) 14:44, 6 December 2006 (UTC).
sailor nepyune and uranus kill saturn and pluto so they can trick sailor galxia into thinking there working for her so they could try and take her star seed but they fail because she hasnt got one. there hasnt been a dub (THANK YOU GOD) because the company isnt puting it up for bid and i dont think they will (PLEASE GOD DONT LET THEM DUB IT) and as far as i know theres no truth to the rumor Sailor cuteness 15:47, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
- Amen. ^_^ --Masamage 19:35, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
Thanks Masamage, but is any one working to get a dub yet like warner bros., dic, fox, or disney, from mr unseen —Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.167.15.147 (talk • contribs)
- Hi Mr. Unseen! Please sign your comments by typing ~~~~ at the end; this automatically includes your IP and the date you posted the comment and helps keep things organized. (You can keep adding 'Mr. Unseen' before that if you want, of course. You're also welcome to register a username.)
- That said, not that I'm aware. What's going on is that Toei, the company who made Sailor Moon in Japan, isn't giving anybody in any country the rights to the comics or TV show anymore. Not only are they not allowing new adaptations, but all of the books and DVDs that were already produced are going out of print. A lot of people think this is because Toei wants to take back all the control over its own material, so that it can release things itself rather than relying on other companies. We don't know for sure though, and we don't know if Toei will ever do anything else with the Sailor Moon series either. --Masamage 07:04, 7 December 2006 (UTC)
so is there anywhere to get sailor moon manga in english if its all out of print Sailor cuteness 20:19, 14 December 2006 (UTC)
- Yeah, you can just buy them used. --Masamage 21:03, 14 December 2006 (UTC)
Do you know where I could buy it as a complete set I couldnt find it on Ebay ♥Eternal Pink-ready for love♥ 11:31, 24 February 2007 (UTC)
- Just keep an eye on eBay, although because it is out of print most sellers will charge you through the nose for it. Used bookstores are great too, and then there's the method I use on my SM manga collection, which is to buy them one at a time as they come available. (I was given 1-4 in English, but I'm working on snagging the rest in Japanese.) --Masamage 20:06, 24 February 2007 (UTC)

- As far as I know, there hasn't been an English dub of the fifth season because of the nature of the Starlights initially. US Dubbing companies took the series and turned it down a notch on the age restrictions (I'd personally like to think this is because the US is too conservative), hence the second episode of the first season was shot as well (where Umino flips the teacher's skirt). Whether or not Toei had something to do with that, I don't know (though I do seem to remember from my DBZ days that Toei was being a bit of a bully concerning fansites at one point as well). --Zyppora 10:26, 31 May 2007 (UTC)

-
- The dub could "fix" the Starlights like the italan dub could have by making the Starlights the three lights twin sister's the reasion it hasn't been dubbed isnt to do with the starlight's it is because Toei wont licence it out ♥Fighting for charming Love♥ 11:32, 5 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Overlooked
In the anime sailor galaxia awoken sailor saturn her star seed would mature and become a sailor crystal or true star seed so what was she gona do about chibiusa didnt she want her star seed and she must have knowen about her because she was telling queen nehelania that they where larfing at her (sorry i cant spell today lolz) ♥Eternal Pink-ready for love♥ 15:40, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
- See grandfather paradox. ;) If Galaxia stole Usagi and Mamoru's star seeds before Chibiusa was born, she wouldn't exist in the future. As Galaxia couldn't deal with Hotaru in the same way, her awakening was forced.-Malkinann 22:15, 5 March 2007 (UTC)
- I never thorght of that silly me thanks :} ♥Eternal Pink-ready for love♥ 22:31, 5 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] villains

- the Amazon trio and Zirconia are all the villais who die and are killed by villains the others turn good and are still alive (at least I think Nhelenia is still alive in anime) ♥Fighting for charming Love♥ 18:28, 29 June 2007 (UTC)
