[edit] Dasrik's edits

Would someone who knows this stuff please check Dasrik's edits? He's been permanently banned for vandalism and has messed with a lot of Sailor Moon articles. If this is more of the same, it's more subtle than usual. Thanks, Tualha 6 July 2005 14:42 (UTC)

Never mind, I've reverted them. I didn't notice that the article before his edits was Wikipedia-quality, and he basically replaced it. Tualha 7 July 2005 03:37 (UTC)

[edit] One screencap per article

  • This page is in violation of Wikipedia rules - especially since we want to avoid copyright infringement. One screencap per article is allowed. I suggest that one of them is deleted. strideranne 23:22, 1 April 2006 (UTC)Strideranne
However, Wikipedia allows to use images if they aren't only for decorative purposes. I believe neither is decorative, as one shows her evil form and another her true form. -- ReyBrujo 23:38, 1 April 2006 (UTC)
Agreed. Two forms of one character should be illustrated. However, I think their current positions (good on top, bad on the bottom) should be reversed since the "evil form" is seen first and appears the most. Xuanwu 21:48, 7 April 2006 (UTC)
Are you absolutely sure that the "illustrative" rule trumps the "one per article" rule? That seems kind of incongruous to me. --Masamage 18:38, 16 August 2006 (UTC)
#3 Fair use criteria indicates Do not use multiple images or media clips if one will serve the purpose adequately. If the character has two transformations, and both are needed in the article (in Galaxia's case, both identities are fairly different, so it could be said both are needed), then you are still falling under the criteria, if you are not using them only for decoration. -- ReyBrujo 18:48, 16 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Merge "Shadow Galactica"

  • I don't feel there's enough information about Shadow Galactica to warrant an article, so I've proposed it be merged with this one. Danny Lilithborne 02:38, 14 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Merge "Zero Star"

  • I don't feel there is enough pertinent information in Zero Star to merge to this article. It's a plot point that comes up near the end of STARS. I think it should just be deleted. Danny Lilithborne 04:26, 15 July 2006 (UTC)
    • I think zero Star should be merged with the Sailor Stars manga, not here. Putting Shadow Galactica here makes sense, though. Xuanwu 22:01, 22 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] attacks

she also had a black thunder like attack and a power to make a sailor moon see a dream wher her frends were alive to and her sowrd broke the grond and blasted her enmmeys

  • It's generally not a great idea to list every single attack people do in anime, since they generally do what they need to at the time. And the dream was not Galaxia's doing; it's not explained how that dream happened. Danny Lilithborne 01:12, 18 July 2006 (UTC)

sailor galaxia sead that it was her doing to make sailor moon think the world could be saved and then to show her "realty"

  • That wasn't what she said. Galaxia showed her reality from the get go; she never said she created the dream. I've seen the episodes many times. Danny Lilithborne 20:00, 8 August 2006 (UTC)

but galaxia said did you awake from the dream that this world would be saved and uranus mentiond the dream to sayia and she yelled dont bost meaning it wasnt just sailor moons dream meening it was probly galixia or uranus and or neptune power Sailor cuteness 15:53, 13 September 2006 (UTC)

so its a bad ider to add the thunder attacks or the dream thingy witch im 99.9% shure its galixia power Sailor cuteness 16:05, 17 October 2006 (UTC)

I took it as desperate hallucination. --Masamage 01:39, 14 September 2006 (UTC)
Here's a suggestion: it's a shojo anime. Don't think about it too hard or you'll break your brain. Danny Lilithborne 16:09, 17 October 2006 (UTC)
The sword that Serenity uses is not the same one Galaxia used to seal chaos... (they might share the same name though?) the sword Galaxia used to seal Chaos, is the same one she uses as Evil Galaxia (except it was gold and not black when she was a nice Senshi ^_^)... ~ Fighter4luv 10:57, 5 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] No merge..

I oppose merging Shadow Galactica to Sailor Galaxia. I instead propose that we merge the individual villian articles to Shadow Galactica and summarize the Galaxia article on the page and link out to that article. --Kunzite 01:45, 18 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Regarding all merges

See Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject Sailor Moon for a new proposal on the treatment of villain articles.

Since these merge proposals have been around a while without only a little discussion and no action, I'm going to change them. I'm proposing that this villain group be reduced to three articles, with the following structure:

Any thoughts? --Masamage 22:58, 29 August 2006 (UTC)

I like this idea, but I think it might be better if Chaos were left out of the Shadow Galactica merge. I feel there is enough material on the Chaos page to warrant its own article. Alohasoy 18:03, 30 August 2006 (UTC)
Hmm, you may be right. Now that you mention it, in the manga, Chaos is the parent of all the other major villains, isn't he? If I'm remembering that right, that makes it inaccurate to categorize him with the Stars villains only. --Masamage 18:16, 30 August 2006 (UTC)
Yep. Chaos is the true "end boss" of the series, who was responsible for every villain Moon faced. He deserves his own. I like your grouping idea. Any ideas on how it would be formatted? Maybe Profiles on each member, and then leave sections like "Music" and "Actresses" to have info on all of them. Xuanwu 22:41, 30 August 2006 (UTC)
Thanks for your comments; glad to see you in the project! ^_^ If we follow the example of other villain-grouping pages, actresses would be worked into the section for each character, either in the lead paragraph or at the end. The [[Shitennou (Sailor Moon}|Shitennou]], Ayakashi Sisters, Witches 5, Amazon Quartet, and Sailor Animamates are examples of varying quality. As for Music, I do agree that would work best in a separate section. It might also work better as an article of its own, however, depending (naturally) on how the discussion at the main Project talk page goes. :)
So as for the merging itself, the lack of objections is encouraging. If no one has a problem with it by Friday, which is September 1, I'll do the merging then--except for Chaos. Merging is fun because no information actually gets lost, so it's not as big a deal as it it feels like. ^_^ --Masamage 23:17, 30 August 2006 (UTC)

Done. --Masamage 19:10, 1 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Sailor Galaxia and Galaxia

Read the Galaxia article on wikipedia... any relation there? coincidence? --Hitsuji Kinno 17:14, 8 October 2006 (UTC)

Looks like a coincidence to me. --Masamage 21:30, 8 October 2006 (UTC)
I'm actually not so sure. Takeuchi is certainly an astrology buff, and astrologists tend to know a lot about these kind of phenomena. JuJube 11:28, 8 May 2007 (UTC)
...what astrology? I see an article about Isaac Asimov stuff. --Masamage 22:18, 8 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Image

A manga image might be useful. --Hitsuji Kinno 18:57, 8 October 2006 (UTC)

As would a fully possesed image (IE Black outfit)--Lego3400: The Sage of Time 19:34, 11 January 2007 (UTC)

I added one but its at a funny angle but its the only way to get it with her mouth shut god she talks a lot lolz ♥Eternal Pink-ready for love♥ 17:45, 27 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] sailor chaos

Galaxia becomes Sailor Chaos (similar to the manga)

should this be removed or reworded because it dosnt exsplane what the manga transformation was?sailor cuteness-ready for love 16:19, 1 February 2007 (UTC)

Very good catch. I did remove it, because it's Chaos who turns into Sailor Chaos in the manga, not Galaxia. --Masamage 18:24, 1 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] userbox

i just made a sailor galaxia userbox

Galaxia This user had his/her star seed stolen by Sailor Galaxia

iv seen other sailor moon userboxs so i thourght i would make one if anyone likes it they can use it sailor cuteness-ready for love 17:03, 4 February 2007 (UTC)

Bahaha. That's awesome. --Masamage 20:49, 4 February 2007 (UTC)

thanks :}sailor cuteness-ready for love 20:53, 4 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Music Storage

[edit] Anime

  • "Golden Queen Galaxia" appropriately titled

[edit] Musical

  • "Galaxia Gorgeous"
  • "Galaxia no Dokusai"
  • "Tenkuu no Utage"

[edit] Sailor Galaxia and "trash"

  • Does anyone know the word Galaxia uses that is translated as "trash" by Alex Glover? It's important for research I'm doing. JuJube 11:24, 8 May 2007 (UTC)
I can find out for you when I get home, or you can run over to Sailormusic and download Galaxia's image poem (or prologue?), in which she starts out by saying the word a few times. --Masamage 15:53, 8 May 2007 (UTC)

I just listend to it on shadowed galaxy it sounded like kusay i think ♥Eternal Pink-Ready to fight for love and grace♥ 15:56, 8 May 2007 (UTC)

  • Yeah, but I need the kana/kanji, too. JuJube 16:31, 8 May 2007 (UTC)
I also happen to have the kana scan! (From Lyric Moon; where'd that go?) She's saying kuzu, and it's written in katakana, but the dictionary has the kanji 屑 and translates it as "waste, scrap, chad". --Masamage 21:57, 8 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Small Detail

Does Galaxia really freeze the plane that Mamoru was on in time? I just finished re-watching Stars and I didn't see any evidence of that. It looks more to me like she attacks, he avoids, transforms, and somehow exits onto the wing to see what is going on, and then Galaxia intercepts him personally. Just seems weird for her to get such a powerful ability, which also happens to be uniquely attributed to Pluto and known to have drastic consequences, and then never use it again (even though this is the anime we're talking about...)Torca (talk) 00:02, 5 January 2008 (UTC)

Wow, what is that doing there. No, I think you're right; there's no reason to claim she froze it in time. I guess she might have, but since it doesn't say so or look like it, I'll cut that. Nice catch! --Masamage 00:48, 5 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Chaotic Galaxia

I just want to bring up a few things about that title I added. It was from Ian Miller's site (Which we have had problems with in the past), but he does cite his source for it (The laser disc back as I stated) and even if he is wrong, it is an good adjative as Masamage pointed out in her Edit summery. Lego3400: The Sage of Time (talk) 17:38, 25 February 2008 (UTC)

It wasn't used in-series, and even then, we'd need to see a scan for it to stick. 'cause Ian Miller has a habit of citing things that don't exist. Such as his argument that Mau isn't a real Egyptian word, etc. Also there is a disconnect between merchandise and things in the show. The items in the show are often named differently from the toys. --;; Makes it a pain in the butt.--Hitsuji Kinno (talk) 21:09, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
Like I said, "Chaotic" is just a word that means "of Chaos". The black-clad Galaxia is just the Galaxia who is currently "of Chaos", so whether or not this is an "official title" actually doesn't matter at all. --Masamage 00:11, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
