Saizen
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Saizen is a commercial preparation of synthetic somatropin (growth hormone, a.k.a. GH). Manufactured by Serono, Saizen is produced by recombinant DNA technology from a mammalian cell line (mouse C127) that was modified by the addition of the human GH gene, resulting in an identical 191-amino acid sequence and structure.

[edit] Usage
Saizen is injected. It is intended for long-term treatment of youngsters whose growth failure is due to inadequate production of growth hormone. However, as with other forms of HGH, it is subject to other usage, such as for bodybuilding and athletic performance enhancement.
It affects:
- Tissue growth
- Skeletal growth
- Cell growth (especially muscle growth)
- Organ growth
- Metabolism
- Protein metabolism
- Carbohydrate metabolism
- Lipid metabolism
- Mineral metabolism
- Connective tissue and bone metabolism
Saizen usage should be performed under the regular guidance of a physician who is experienced in the diagnosis and management of growth disorders.
Children with inadequate secretion of growth hormone sometimes experience fasting hypoglycemia that is improved by treatment with growth hormone. Using Saizen may decrease glucose tolerance. Because human growth hormone may induce a state of insulin resistance, patients should be observed for evidence of glucose intolerance. As with human growth hormone, Saizen should be used with caution in patients with diabetes mellitus or a family history of diabetes mellitus.
[edit] Warnings: Black-Market HGH
For those seeking HGH (Human Growth Hormone) therapy without a prescription from licensed physicians must be aware that there are several fake HGH manufacturers floating around the web. Most of these manufacturers actually use a substance called hCG (Human chorionic gonadotropin) and pass it off as Generic HGH, and since testing the HGH chemical substance is a very expensive process, the bootleggers know that most, if not all, of their customers wouldn’t even attempt to test them.
HCG (Human chorionic gonadotropin) powder is visually identical to HGH lyophilic powder, and must be reconstituted the same way using bacteriostatic or sterile water. If overused, HCG can be a very dangerous substance. About 42% of North American black market HGH confiscated are fakes.
The majority of fake HGH can be identified by colored top (mostly blue top) vials, with printed ink that can be easily wiped off from the label. The text on the labels is usually in the Spanish language. Another way to test your vial is to rigorously shake it. The actual manufacturers of HGH (rDNA) such as Merck-EMD Serono & Eli Lilly, strongly state in their pamphlets, that their reconstituted vials can easily become cloudy if shaken too rigorously. The reason being is that HGH is a protein and Serono and Eli Lilly warn against injecting the cloudy substance. So if your vial does not become cloudy or stays cloudy after a violent shake, then you know you’ve been scammed.
