Saint Vincent Archabbey

Saint Vincent Archabbey, founded in 1846 by Boniface Wimmer, is the oldest Benedictine monastery in the United States.

The Benedictines of Saint Vincent operate Saint Vincent College and Saint Vincent Seminary in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, located forty miles southeast of Pittsburgh, and minister in other campus apostolates. The current archabbot of St. Vincent Archabbey is Archabbot Douglas Nowicki, O.S.B.
