Saint Saviour

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Saint Saviour (or, less frequently, Holy Saviour or Christ the Saviour) is the English form of the church dedication known in Latinate form as San Salvador or St Salvator. Unusually, this does not refer to an individual saint, but to Jesus Christ the Holy Saviour, with Saint meaning Holy (as in the Latin adjective "sanctus") rather than a specific saint's title.
