Saint Monica’s Catholic Church is a parish is located at Palmers Green, Stonard Road, London, N13 4DJ.

1. 1910 - Father Thomas Heditch was appointed rector of the new Parish

2. Spring 1912 - Father Thomas Heditch fell ill and decided upon a pilgrimage to Lourdes. He did not return.

3. June 27th 1912 - Father Gallagher was appointed to rector.

4. 1957 - Reginald Crook

5. 1964 - Raymund Geraerts

6. 1979 - Robin Whitney

7. 1994 - Brian Creak

8. 2004 - Roger Taylor

Including Father Shaun Church (now moved to pastures new and replaced with xxxxxxxxxxxxx & Sister Joyce Dionne

Saint Monica’s Church resides at the junction of Stonard Road and Green Lanes.

Saint Monica’s Church is unique in that it is only second to Augustine Prior at Hoxton placed under the Patronage of Saint Monica.

The Churches official opening was Monday May 4th 1914 by Cardinal Bourne and was enthusiastically welcomed by nearly 600 people and 40 clergy.

The Church together with Presbytery was built for £6,600 including the cost of the site.
