St. Mary's Regional Medical Center is a hospital in Reno, Nevada, USA. It is currently operated by Catholic Healthcare West, and is sponsored by the Dominican Sisters of San Rafael.
[edit] History
The Dominican Sisters of San Rafael opened Sister's Hospital in 1908. The sisters had been living in the area since 1877, and had previously opened Mount Saint Mary's Academy. In 1912, a new facility was added, and the hospital was renamed Saint Mary's Hospital. Additions have since been added at that original site, leading to today's Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center[1].
