Saint John's Catholic Prep (formerly known as Saint John's Literary Institution at Prospect Hall) is a private, Roman Catholic high school in Frederick, Maryland. It will move to Buckeystown, Maryland in 2009. It is located in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Baltimore.

The school was founded as St. John's Literary Institution in 1829 by John McElroy S.J. In 1956 the school moved from downtown Frederick to a large, elegant mansion, known as Prospect Hall, constructed on Red Hill circa 1887 - 1903.
