Saint George Bay

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Saint George Bay (known in Lebanon as Golfe de Saint-Georges) is located on the northern coast of the city of Beirut in Lebanon. The Saint George Bay is believed to be the place where Saint George slew the dragon.[1] Today the bay houses Beirut's western marina. Upscale apartment buildings and highrise hotels overlook the bay and its palm-lined promenade, the Corniche.
