Saint Francis of Assisi school

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Saint Francis of Assisi School is a Catholic school located in northeast Baltimore, Maryland that defines itself as “not just a school -- but a way of life.” The school enrolls students in grades K-8 and supports an affiliated preschool program for children ages 2 to 4. Saint Francis of Assisi School, commonly known as SFA, strives to instill its students with the Gospel spirit of freedom, love, and responsibility and an eagerness for knowledge and an education. The faculty members of the school work daily to embody God’s message and act as positive examples for their students. Through daily prayer, unique learning experiences, and acts of community service, the school encourages its students to apply their education outside of the classroom and spread the message of God. Students are expected to treat each other with care and respect. The school believes that it may harmonize with students’ home relationships and, therefore, create a pleasant atmosphere in which students may interact with one another and learn (Saint Francis, 2008).
