Saint Edward's School is a coeducational college-preparatory school in Vero Beach, Florida. The school was founded in 1965 after Indian River County desegregated their public schools. The Original school, and now Lower School occupy the old Riomar Country Club clubhouse on Club Drive. The 30 acres for the South Campus located on the Indian River and situated next to the Moorings Country Club, which now houses the Middle and Upper Schools, was purchased in the 1970s. In 2000 the school began a massive expansion project under Head of School Diane Cooper. The expansion included a separate Middle School, new gym and activities center, a Waxlax Performing Arts Center, a Fine Arts Center and new administrative offices.
