Saint-Pol-sur-Mer

Saint-Pol-sur-Mer is a commune in the département of Nord and the Nord-Pas de Calais region of France. It is the second-largest suburb of the city of Dunkerque, and is almost encircled by it. In the 1999 census, Saint-Pol-sur-Mer had a population of 23,337. The commune has a land area of 5.14 km² (1.985 sq mi).
