Saint-Ouen-des-Alleux is located at 34 km in the North-East of Rennes and at 38 km in the south of the Mont Saint-Michel.

The communes bordering are Saint-Christophe-de-Valains, Le Tiercent, Saint-Hilaire-des-Landes, Saint-Marc-sur-Couesnon, Mézières-sur-Couesnon and Vieux-Vy-sur-Couesnon.
