Saint-Omer Open

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Saint-Omer Open is an annual men's professional golf tournament which was founded in 2000 and is played in France. Since 2003 it has been an official money event on both the European Tour and the Challenge Tour, but it is currently played the same week as the U.S. Open, which is one of golf's four major championships, so the leading European Tour players are not available to play. From 2000 to 2002 it was part of the Challenge Tour schedule only. The 2007 prize fund of €500,000 was the smallest on the European Tour.
