Saint-Mars-sur-la-Futaie

Saint Mars sur la Futaie is a small village within the Mayenne(53) department of France. It purports to have the oldest tree in France, a hawthorn dating back some 1500 years. It is 5 km from the more famous village of Pontmain. St Mars has a post office, a small primary school, a public fishing lake, Hotel/Restaurant, hairdressers and village shop.
