Saint-Herblain is a commune of the Loire-Atlantique département in the Pays de la Loire region of France. It is the largest suburb of the city of Nantes, and lies adjacent to its west side. In the 1999 census Saint-Herblain had a population of 43,726. The commune has a land area of 30.02 km² (11.591 sq mi).
Saint-Herblain is twinned with Waterford City in Ireland, where a housing estate is named after the suburb, St Herblain Park.
