Saint-Christophe-sur-le-Nais is a commune in the Indre-et-Loire département in France. It is located 30 km from Tours and is bounded by the département of Sarthe.

The railway linking Caen, Le Mans and Tours ensures a regular traffic for goods and passengers at the Saint-Paterne-Racan station located 2 km SE. It is also connected by a bus named (TER et Fil Vert) with daily routes to Tours. The river Escotais is full of fish and attracts many fishermen and offers green landscapes. The commune is 18.27 km², 1.33 km² are meadows, 16 km² are farmlands including 14.09 km² arable lands and 0.7 km² of orchards are found. The largest forest are at the accesses of Château de Gènes.

The founding dates back to 1000. Stone-built houses were common. Its walls dates back to the 16th century. On the other side of the railway, the agglomerated part, Le Faubourg de Vienne had workmen of flourishing industries of the commune. Saint-Christophe-sur-le-Nais includes the presents of many underground cavities, many slopes that used to be covered with vines add the undeniable charm to the village.
