Sainsbury's Active Kids is a voucher scheme run by Sainsbury's. Schools can redeem vouchers for sports equipment. According to the Sainsbury's website, £34 Million has been spent on sports equipment for schools.[1]
For every £10 spent, a voucher is issued. If £50 is spent, in the same transaction, a Green Voucher is issued. An additional Active Kids voucher is issued when £10 is spent on fresh fruit and vegetables. These products have a green apple symbol. Nectar points can also be converted to vouchers. 500 nectar points can be converted to 50 vouchers. [2][3] Vouchers can be redeemed for every £5 spent in Sainsbury Locals. [4]
