Saigon Times Square hi-rise building under construction district 1, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. This tower compund will include 3 towers, two 36-story tower and a 43-joint tower and featrures a modern architectural style. The cost for this compound is USD$ 125 million invested by Times Square (Vietnam) Investment Joint Stock company. The height to the top of the tower is 163.8 m. Once completion, this tower will be among one of the highest buildings in Vietnam. As of 2007, the highest building in Vietnam is Saigon Trade Center in Ho Chi Minh City with 33 stories only. Upon completion, this tower will include one 231-room five-star hotel, 120 luxury apartments, convention center.

During 2000-2007, Vietnam has achieved an economic growth of 8-8.5%, thus leading to the increasing demand of office and shopping spaces in its big cities like Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Danang, Haiphong has been in rapid rise. Land and housing cost in these cities still keep expensive compared with GDP per capita in the country.
