Sai mai lo or more unofficially referred to as Sago pudding is a popular Chinese tongsui dessert found in Hong Kong. It may also be found in other parts of Asia.
[edit] Preparation
The main ingredient is made of tiny beads of sago or pearl tapioca, in addition to coconut and evaporated milk. Some varieties include taro to make "taro sai mai lo" (芋頭西米露). Some other flavors include fruits such as mango or honeydew. It is usually served refrigerated cold, though sometimes it can be served warm.
