Saint Urbain II prêchant la croisade 

Le 27 novembre 1095, à Clermont-Ferrand, à l'issue du concile, le pape Urbain II prêche la première croisade en présence de Philippe Ier, devant l'assemblée des évêques et des princes.

Guillaume II le Roux, roi d'Angleterre, meurt, atteint par une flèche au cours d'une chasse en 1100.
