Sagar Mahal was a summer palace resort of the erstwhile Nizam of Hyderabad state. It is located at Osman Sagar also known as Gandipet.
Sagar Mahal, overlooking the lake, is now a heritage building. It is located on the bank of Osman Sagar and has the best view of the lake. The state-owned Andhra Pradesh Tourism Department, currnetly, runs the place as a resort.
