Talk:Safeword
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Can this be split into two articles, one about the sports usage and one about the BDSM usage? There are links to it from other pages like Code word, with no indication that the page contains largely NSFW content. It's not graphical, of course, but it's something that would appear inappropriate if someone saw you reading it.
are the movie references really necessary? they seem silly and out of place. Rogeriobwp 19:59, 19 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] example
So you need to know how far I can take you? You say that you're ready to follow this as far as it goes? You want anything that I can give you, you're willing to let go completely?
I don't know if I'm ready for you to give up your safeword.
The weight of it will weigh so heavy, your absolute trust in me is almost more than I can bear- almost.
OK then, my sweet. I can do this.
Into your leathers, then my dear. Do you need a glass of water? This is likely to be a long, fantastic night.
- Ha, that is really quite silly. Kingturtle 07:48, 18 Apr 2005 (UTC)
Can someone explain what an antisafeword does?
- I was only ever able to find one reference to anti-safeword as a anything other than discussions opposed to the usage of safeword, and it seemed to more reference a SAM (Smart-Ass Masochist) behavior of being obnoxious to get harsher treatment. I don't believe it really is it's own thing. WhiteFire Sondergaard 01:45, 1 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Seperation of sports content from BDSM content.
As someone suggested, I've split the sport use of safewords into it's own article since some people may not want to be seen reading about BDSM when they where only looking for the sport use. Since the BDSM use of the term safeword is the more well known, at least in the U.S., I felt it should stay at the current title. --Cab88 09:59, 4 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Disambig?
Safeword also occurs in communication protocols... ShakespeareFan00 02:38, 15 December 2006 (UTC)
