SafeSquid,[1] basically is a Content Filtering HTTP 1.1 Proxy. SafeSquid helps in distributing Internet access across computer network, while providing Total Content Control & Total Access Control. SafeSquid ensures that the Internet usage is always as per an Acceptable Internet Use Policy. SafeSquid's granular Content filtering features provides security to ensure that the Internet usage is not abused or misused. The various aspects of real-time content analysis and modification are a part of SafeSquid's intrinsic architecture. It is therefore very robust, and can handle thousands of concurrent requests, while performing complex content filtering, in real-time. SafeSquid's Profiles feature allows you to accommodate the demands of extremely granular rules for Internet access privileges and restrictions.
