Safari Park (Karachi)

Safari Park (Urdu: سفاری باغ ) is located in Gulshan-e-Iqbal Town in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. Safari Park has a zoo, children's playland and a large number of gardens. It is one of the major recreation and amusement areas in Karachi.
Karachi Safari Park situated at Main University Road extending in an area of 300 acres land, inaugurated in 1970 by Lieutenant General Atiq-ur-Rehman. It was an independent project of the then Karachi Municipal Corporation, following with creation of independent department of Zoo, Safari and Aquarium in 1995.

Karachi Safari Park is now declared as an independent wing of Community Development Department of City District Government of Karachi. Now this has been designated as a Family Park.
