[edit] Fuzzy control
If you find you have added a duplicate article, you can use a redirect or request a speedy deletion. I have redirected Fuzzy control to Fuzzy logic per your comment on the page. -- JLaTondre 16:29, 28 December 2005 (UTC)
- Looks like two of us entered the same comment at the same time. Wasn't inttentionally trying to browbeat you with duplicate comments... -- JLaTondre 16:30, 28 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Brainlobes_labeled.png
Thanks for uploading Image:Brainlobes_labeled.png. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images on Wikipedia is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}
.
Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. You can get help on image copyright tagging from Wikipedia talk:Image copyright tags. --OrphanBot 06:18, 21 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] License tagging for Image:680px-Brain lateral view.png
Thanks for uploading Image:680px-Brain lateral view.png. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 21:07, 11 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Notes
Hi, SAE1962, I've noticed you have been editing a bunch of China-related articles lately, which is great. Just a few notes for future reference. First, individual years shouldn't be linked to articles per the MOS. In fact, bots or users with automated scripts will often run through an article and remove every linked year, so don't waste your time doing this. Second, yesterday you made a large edit to the Confucianism article which had several problems. First, good work adding the language templates, but the pinyin shouldn't be in italics. Also, you used the {{fact}} template incorrectly, this should only be used when you want a citation to be added, the text in the note won't actually be visible on the page. Finally, you got the Chinese wrong in the first sentence! 学 is actually a different character than 家, not the simplified version. When I saw this I immediately reverted your entire edit, but I will go back now and partially revert back to it, since it was mostly correct. Anyway, keep up the good work, and don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions. shoeofdeath (talk) 20:24, 20 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] RfD nomination of "East Asia Economic Group"
I have nominated the discussion page. Thank you. Floaterfluss (talk) (contribs) 04:34, 8 January 2008 (UTC)
for discussion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at[edit] Notability of CloudGarden
A tag has been placed on CloudGarden requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.
If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. JohnCD (talk) 11:22, 31 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Jigloo GUI Builder
A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Jigloo GUI Builder, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}}
to the top of Jigloo GUI Builder. KurtRaschke (talk) 02:01, 1 February 2008 (UTC)
- In fact this is a matter of notability. You may have a look at the (defunct) guideline for software notability. -- lucasbfr talk 14:54, 6 February 2008 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on Template:Zh-tspla requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. Thanks. --MZMcBride (talk) 20:49, 14 February 2008 (UTC)

That's correct! I translated the template for future use, but obviously was diverted to other subjects.

[edit] OpenJIT
This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of OpenJIT, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.freshports.org/java/openjit. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.
This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 11:12, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
