Saeed Hotari (1980 - 2001) was a Palestinian suicide bomber noted for the most devastating attack carried out by Palestinian Hamas during the second popular uprising that started in September 2000 after Ariel's Sharon visit to the Muslim sacred Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem. Hotari detonated his explosives at a Tel Aviv, Israel disco on June 1, 2001, killing 21 people. Praised as a martyr by his father, Hotari detonated his explosives while in a line-up for a discotheque in Tel Aviv. It is not known how Hotari has entered Tel Aviv, but there is widespread belief that he took a taxi from the central bus station to the nightclub.
