[edit] Misinterpreted.

The Mac isn't emotionally sad, it looks dead. It should be called something like 'Deceased Mac' or 'Dead Mac.' —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 141.168.36.9 (talk • contribs) .

No.
It's called Sad Mac, that's what it's always been called, that's what it always will be called. It's just its name. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Izzymeckler (talkcontribs) .
Actually, it should be restated as Sad Macintosh. The 1991 Macintosh User's Guide, the 1990 Macintosh Reference guide, the 1986 Mac Plus user guide, and other Apple publications, clearly refer it as the Sad Macintosh. I think we should rename the article as Sad Macintosh. Steven312 22:58, 11 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fixing the iPod

I'm going to go ahead and remove the instructions on fixing the sad icon on iPod, as it's not relevant encyclopedic information. I mean, it's useful, but it's not encyclopedic. There is the whole rest of the Internet for that. 65.41.111.68 19:57, 30 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Contradiction

"It is noted that the right side of the frown extends down one additional pixel."

So the image is wrong? There it extends two additional pixels. Shinobu 17:50, 20 February 2007 (UTC)

If I can understand you message right, it is true: the Sad Macintosh icon does have have two extra pixels. One that is near the corner, and one at the end Steven312 22:58, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
