I will not readd the sentence, but it is the equivalent of NY's Central Park, both in terms of position (in the city center) and in terms of function. It is smaller but Bratislava is proportionatelly smaller to NY. You will never find any source for statements like this (therefore write that you do not agree and not that the information is "unsourced"), but unless the article contains such a sentence, a normal reader coud think it is just an unimportant park somewhere and could wonder why it is mentioned here in the first place.
