Sadwal is a village outside the city of Chakwal, in Punjab, Pakistan. It is part of Kahutani illaqa of old times. There are number of known personalities[citation needed]: army officers, doctors, professors, politicians (Previous Nazim of U.C Odherwal Haji Abdul Rashid also belongs to Sadwal).Lt Col Rtd Dr Ahmed Farjam also belongs to Sadwal & Dr. Mohammad Iqbal Kahut, a Senior Public Health Specialist of Pakistan who is National Programme Officer in World Health Organization, Islamabad and was Medical Superintendent of DHQ Hospital Chakwal (1999-2003) and Executive District Officer Health Chaklwal(2004-Aug. 2007), is also a resident of this village(Kahut House Sadwal). The Government Rural Dispensary was established by him in Sadwal in 2005, being son of the soil. Land in this village is very agricultural. Here is one girls high school, one boys middle school and one private middle school, named Rehman Public School. Two coal roads lead to Sadwal from bhoun road. Gas supply for this village is approved, soon there will be gas. Telephone facility is already there. Here is one post office and a dispensory. There is one brick kiln in Sadwal and this family has 5 other bricks kiln in maingan, bhagwal and bhalla. There is a travel & money transfer agancy named CHAKWAL INTERNATIONAL in sadwal plaza, chakwal. Kahouts are in majority in this village. There are number of poulty farms in all around the village. The owner of Bismillah Catering & Tent Service, Chakwal also belongs to Sadwal. Malik fida-ur-rehman a known journalist & the chairman of organization named AAINA also belongs to sadwal. baba noor hussain (late) well known personality was belongs to sadwal. sadwal also known for sports activeties.sadwal people love to play cricket, hocky.football, sadwal's cricketers anjum mehtab,sajjad,ramiz,noor mohammad ,mohammad ejaz,shujah,iftikhar,rifaqat,shahid tanwir,gafar,frooq,tahir,qasim,asif,fiaz and young shoaib ejaz are very famouse in the area.
