Sadeg Faris

Sadeg Faris is a scientist and inventor.
Faris grew up in Tripoli, Libya, and travelled to the United States on a scholarship from Esso Libya to undertake his tertiary education.[1] He graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a Doctor of Engineering degree in the 1970s.[1] For a time Faris worked for IBM, but in 1991 he started his own company, Reveo.[1] He currently serves as the chairman, chief executive officer and chief technical officer of Reveo.[2] In October 2003 Reveo and the Government of Malaysia started a research and development centre named InventQjaya
As of November 2004, Faris had secured more than two hundred patents for his various inventions, with another two hundred pending.[1]
