Saddletowne is a future Calgary Transit LRT C-Train station on the Northeast Line/Route 202. It is expected to open in 2011.[1]
The station is one of two that will be constructed as part of a 3.1-kilometre extension of the Northeast line from McKnight-Westwinds Station to Saddletowne Station. It will be located in a reserved right-of-way within the community of Saddle Ridge, within the northwest corner of Saddletowne Circle. There will be a 200-stall park-and-ride lot and a feeder bus terminal at the station.[2]
Construction on the extension is anticipated to begin in 2008 with completion in 2011, and is expected to cost about C$110 000 000.[3]
