'"Sad Song" is a song by the English rock band Oasis, written by the band's lead guitarist, Noel Gallagher. It was included on the UK LP version of their debut album, Definitely Maybe, and on the original Japanese version of the album. It is, as its name suggests, a rather melancholy song, with Noel simply accompanying himself on an acoustic guitar. It was the first Oasis song to be sung by him, rather than his brother, Liam. It has rarely, if ever, been performed live by the band.
