Sachin Ketkar (b. 1972) is a bilingual writer and translator who writes in Marathi and English. He belongs to the new generation of Marathi poets, critics and translators who have come into their own in the nineties.

`Bhintishivaichya Khidkitun Dokavtana', Abhidhanantar Prakashan, 2004 is his collection of Marathi poems and ` A Dirge for the Dead Dog and Other Incantations', Sanbun Publications, 2003 is his collection of poems in English,

He has edited and translated `Live Update: An Anthology of Recent Marathi poetry', published by Poetrywala, Mumbai, 2005

He has translated fiction and poetry from Marathi and Gujarati into English and from English into Marathi. He has translated around hundred compositions of Narsinh Mehta, the famous fifteenth century Gujarati poet.

He works as Reader in the Dept. of English, The MS University of Baroda, Baroda, Gujarat, India.

He lives in Gujarat, India.
