Sacred Heart-Griffin High School

Sacred Heart-Griffin High School is Springfield, Illinois' largest private high school. The high school is Roman Catholic, and on the school's campus is a motherhouse for a Dominican order of religious sisters. It is located in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Springfield in Illinois.The men sports teams are known as the "Cyclones", while the women are the "Blazers" [1]

Since SHG is a private school there are fees that the students must pay to attend. You can pay for one semester or the entire year. There are different fees for the students who are Roman Catholic and for those who practice a different faith. There are also different fees depending on if you are the first, second, third, or fourth child in the family to attend. For Catholics the first child's tuition for the year is $5775, second child $5275, third child $4275, and for the fourth child there is no charge. For students of another faith the first child's tuition for the year is $7150, second child $6650, third child $5650, and the fourth child has no tuition fees.

Sacred Heart Griffin also has a number of athletic teams that are broken down by season and gender. In the fall they offer Football, Cross Country, Boys Soccer, Boys and Girls Golf, Girls Swimming, Volleyball, and Girls Tennis. In the Winter SHG has Boys and Girls Basketball, Cheerleading, Hockey, Poms, Boys Swimming, and Wrestling. In the spring the Sacred Heart Griffin plays Baseball, Softball, Girls Soccer, Boys and Girls Track, and Boys Tennis.
